    Your client will simply create an appointment using their EMR like usual. From there, a dedicated billing agent will optimize and submit their claim, then handle reconciliation ensuring maximum income recovery while providing them with detailed reporting.

Is this service available to all physicians?
Dr.Bill currently supports physicians practicing in Manitoba or Saskatchewan, inclusive of all specialties, that are billing over 10k a month in a single location and using the cloud-based Accuro EMR. Dr.Bill also provides services to physicians within Ontario, B.C. and Alberta with proprietary mobile and web applications; please find more information about these provinces at dr-bill.ca.

What specialities does Dr.Bill serve?

We can support all medical specialities.

Can you support physicians who work at multiple clinics or hospitals?

Yes, however only if they are on a single record system.

Could Dr.Bill serve a group of physicians, i.e. an entire clinic?

Yes, we can accommodate an entire clinic / hospital group as long it does not exceed the 25 physician limit per province.

Can we support physicians that use EMRs/EHRs other than Accuro?

No, unfortunately not at this time, but we are looking at extending our offering in FY27.

Do you support other types of provincial payment plans?

Yes, we can submit private claims and workers compensation claims, in addition to Alternative Funding Arrangements. If a physician does shadow billing we charge based on submitted values.

What are the specifics of the Dr.Bill discounts?

1A discounted 2% service fee is available to RBC Healthcare Advantage Plan members who sign up for the Dr.Bill Concierge Plan. The service fee (regularly 2.95% for Concierge Plan) is charged on all paid claims in a billing cycle. RBC Medical Billing Inc., not Royal Bank of Canada, is responsible for the terms and conditions associated with your product subscription. Dr.Bill is only available in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. For further details on Dr.Bill, visit www.dr-bill.ca. Dr.Bill is powered by RBC Medical Billing Inc., a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada.
