As of April 1st, 2020, payment rates for certain plastic surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and critical care fee items were altered. On the July remittance statement, you’ll find adjustment code 80 which includes a retroactive payment for claims that were paid according to the old rates.
The following fee items have been amended, so if you’ve billed for them expect to recieve the new rates soon.
