Calling all Ontario physicians – you can now add multiple specialties to your profile! This means you can change your specialty when creating a claim. Here’s how: First, you must add each specialty to your profile. You can do this by: a. Clicking on your name on the top right hand-corner of your account. b. Selecting “account settings.” c. Then Selecting “Edit” d. Next to “Specialities,” click on the green box that says “new.” e. Now you can select your speciality. You can add as many as you like but remember to set one as your primary speciality. Watch this quick tutorial to see exactly how it’s done. Other Features: You can also now set a default diagnosis for your claims. You can do this by editing your account settings and adding a “Default diagnosis” (the last setting option, see below). And lastly, you are now able to generate payment reports based on the remittance advice provided by OHIP.
